My name is Vanessa Olver, and I started Aquinas Soap Company out of personal necessity. After experiencing skin irritation from commercial products, I knew there had to be a better way. That's when I began crafting natural, gentle soaps that truly care for your skin.
Handcrafted in Small Batches
Every Aquinas Soap Company product is made entirely by hand, in small batches, right here in our studio in New Lowell, Ontario. Small-batch production isn't just a philosophy — it's how we ensure that every bar of soap, every bottle, and every blend is made with care and that the ingredients are at their freshest when they reach you. No shortcuts, no mass production lines — just hands-on craftsmanship from start to finish.
Our Ingredient Philosophy
We believe that what goes on your skin matters just as much as what goes in your body. That's why we use only natural, ethically sourced ingredients — free from harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances, and unnecessary additives. Wherever possible, we source locally to support our community and reduce our environmental footprint. When local sourcing isn't available, we ensure every ingredient meets our strict ethical standards.
